I love designing watches because they are daily products that can show your lifestyle and personality. Also they reflect your aesthetic sense and ultimately your philosophy. My aim is to make a DESIGNER watch with high aesthetic sense. A watch that is beautifully crafted,has great prestige, and is affordable for everyone is our dream. I will be applying high-end watch materials (both side sapphire crystal, Italian Calf Leather, stainless steel 316L) and a technology learnt during my 6 years at a watch industry on JW watches.

As my co-founder William manages the factory, we can guarantee the best quality movements used in JW watch. JW-01 watch is powered by an all new skeleton developed movement called JW-7100. JW-7100 functions with a frequency of 4Hz (28,800 A/h), 21 jewels, automatic winding, a sweep second movement, and “Caliber: 173” (173 parts). Functionally, the movement provides up to 80 hours (3 days+) of power-reserve via a single barrel system along with its effective bi-directional winding rotor. It will be difficult, if not impossible, to find a watch with such fine polished movement at this price.

I studied typography in College. As I stumbled upon and studied more on Golden Ratio and artistic sense, I thought this would be an excellent idea for watch designing! The circle elements on our watch are applied using the Golden Ratio. All the straight lines indicate the placement of every element, which are perfectly arranged. Hence, I call this the "perfect" watch, which is also known as a DESIGNER watch.

A highly burnished case for a luxury watch could not be more apt. JW-01 is no different. A 316L Stainless steel case and mirror-polished finishing result in a grand look for the watch. The 42mm case diameter would be suitable for both men and women. Every watch is individually numbered; every watch is unique. With a water resistance of 3 ATM, you can wear it without worrying about water damage.

Having an extraordinary and high quality strap is very important for a watch. It is difficult to make a high quality strap while maintaining an affordable price. It is, however, my duty to provide the best material for JW-01. Hence, I bring you the fine crafted Italian Calf Leather with an interchangeable catch which allows you to change your strap conveniently without any special tool.

The glass in JW-01 is exclusively used in luxury watches. It has the highest SWISS standard glass - both sides are made of Genuine Sapphire Crystal with anti-reflection coating. Sapphire crystal is highly scratch-resistant that can avoid almost any scratch with your daily wear. Printing on glass is not simple, but silk-printing on a special sapphire crystal is beyond difficult. Our JW logo is printed flawlessly on the Genuine sapphire crystal after overcoming various technical problems.

Watches are always mysterious to most people - how do watches work? Or what are the composites of a watch? With the skeleton movement of our watch, you can now peer through the gaps of the watch and unveil its mystery. This is not your typical daily watch - the movement is specially placed at the top left corner of the watch. I have spent much time with engineers and craftsmen to make this possible and for this watch design to come alive. What’s more to this watch? The skeleton and the edge of the material reflect light like a mirror - it just makes the watch glitter under any situation.

We own a Hong Kong watch factory with watch masters performing quality checks and maintenance for our watches. The quality of JW watch is highly controlled and guaranteed.

In designing this watch, I used fine skeleton movement with an innovative time display to show extreme simplicity and high sense of trend. To enhance the uniqueness of Golden Ratio, the three “hands” are nothing typical to your usual watches - they are presented in three red arrows on the layered dial. You will only be able to see the second hand circling the watch, while the minute and hour hands are more concealed. One of our proudest designs of this watch is that the hands would never block the stunning view of the movement.
